President Bola Tinubu has sent warm greetings to a former Commissioner for Information and Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, on his 60th birthday on March 30.
“The President joins the family, friends, and associates of the renowned journalist, publisher, and political consultant in celebrating the milestone, already marked by many notable achievements and recognitions,” Mr Bayo Onanuga, his spokesman, said in a statement on Sunday.
Tinubu acknowledged Bamigbetan’s interest in community development and the promotion of inclusivity as he dedicated his multi-platformed medium, Echonews, to bridging understanding between the government and ordinary people in communities.
The President extolled the former chairman and vice chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, chief press secretary, and special adviser to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development for his willingness to continuously serve in leadership positions.
“As Bamigbetan turns 60, President Tinubu prays that the Almighty God will grant him a longer life to serve the country and humanity.”
