Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, stood still on May 26 when producers of the film, ‘Last Man Standing’ held the premiere of the much-anticipated film at the NAF Conference Centre and Suites, Ahmadu Bello Way, Jabi, Abuja.
‘Last Man Standing’, a biopic on Nigeria’s new president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, produced by Ultimate Communications, follows the life of Nigeria’s Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces during his time as governor of Lagos State.

The event had in attendance Senator Barau Jibrin, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, and the preferred candidate for APC as Deputy Senate President; Hon Benjamin Kalu, the spokesperson of the House of Representatives and the preferred candidate of the APC as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives; Muyiwa Adejobi, Police PPRO; Aare Wole Arisekola; Olori Elegushi, among other celebrities and actors.

Barau, who gave the keynote speech at the event, said Nigerians should be grateful to the producers of the film because they are trying to document history for young people. He added that doing that would motivate and inspire a lot of politicians and young people.

In the same vein, Kalu said that in the same way Asiwaju was the last man standing to build a good tax regime and system in Lagos, he is sure he will be the last man standing to fight insecurity and make our economy better.
Following the successful premiere, Seun Oloketuyi, Ultimate Communications boss, revealed that the film would also premiere in Lagos State with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as host on June 12, with a select number of businessmen and politicians who would watch with him at a soon-to-be-announced venue.

While ace actor, Lateef Adedimeji plays the role of Asiwaju, ‘Last Man Standing’ is directed by whiz director, Tunde Olaoye, and stars actors like Gbenga Adeyinka, Jide Kosoko, Madam Kofo, Shushu Abubakar, Segun Arinze, Sam Olatunji and many others.
