Tickets to Leicester’s final home game goes as high as £15,000, sold out

If you want to see the final home match of Leicester City’s historic season, it’s going to cost you.
Leicester’s match on May 7 against Everton sold out in record time on Monday and seats on the secondary market are being sold for as much as £15,000 for a pair, or $21,350.
That’s $10,675 a pop!
Individual tickets can be had for more than £3,000 ($4,270).
Tickets to this year’s Super Bowl sold for $4,841 on average on the secondary market – the most expensive ticket in U.S. sports history.
A pair of seats at the 50-yard line for that game sold for $20,500 each.
Leicester-Everton does not quite reach that level, but tickets are still six times as much as the cheapest seat to see Kobe Bryant’s final NBA game this Wednesday ($700).
The Foxes are on the brink of the most surprising title run in league history, with the club needing just nine points from their remaining five games. That means Leicester have a good chance of playing their final home game at King Power Stadium either as newly-crowned champions or with a chance to clinch.
Tickets for the penultimate match of the season went on sale Monday with a face value of £30-£50 ($43-$71) for adults and £5-£15 ($7-$21) for children.
A club spokesman told the Leicester Mercury that tickets “sold out within 90 minutes.”
