Three journalists, Tunde Oluwanike, Chairman, NUJ FRCN Chapel; Kafayat Odunsi of NTA Victoria Island, Lagos; and Adolphus Okonkwo who was until his death the NUJ National Financial Secretary died in an accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred at Ilesa near Osu in Lagos-bound bus which had one of its rear tyres burst while on the expressway.
The bus somersaulted eight times before crash landing in a bush where the three were confirmed dead.
The injured 10 others are receiving treatment at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
