The Niche lecture holds Thursday

The 3rd edition of TheNiche Annual lecture will hold on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Guest Speaker: Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), former Lagos State Governor and Minister of Works and Housing.

Theme: 2023 elections and future of Nigeria’s democracy.

Chairman: Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, former Liaison Officer to President Shehu Shagari and founding member of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF).

Discussants: 1. Prof Victor Chukwuma, Professor of Physics, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Fellow of Astronomical Society of Nigeria, poet and public intellectual. 2. Martins Oloja, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, columnist. 3. Dr. Dakuku Peterside, former member House of Representatives, former DG NIMASA, politician, columnist. 4. Mrs. Ene Obi, activist, Country Director ActionAid Nigeria, Convener Situation Room.
5. Mr. Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner, Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee.

Moderator: Prof. Anthony Kila, columnist, Jean Monnet professor of Strategy and Development, Centre Director CIAPS.
