Sunshine Stars FC of Akure has embarked on a close camping ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) kick-off billed for Aug. 26.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday in Akure by the club’s Media Officer, Michael Akintunde.
The statement said the Ondo State- sponsored side took the decision to help the technical crew execute their strategic tactics.
It added that the camping would help players to sharpen their skills in an environment devoid of distractions ahead of the league opener.
Edith Agoye, the club Head Coach, achieved an impressive feat during the last season, coming 4th on the league table.
The statement further advised relevant football stakeholders within and outside the state not to relent in giving their support to the team.
