Adeboye Adeyinka, Chairman, Smart City Football Club, on Tuesday commended the president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, for appointing him as a member of the Security Committee of NFF.

Adeboye, in a statement in Lagos, said he was elated and grateful to Gusau, for deeming him competent and credible to be part of the NFF security committee.

He promised to give his best at all times to justify his appointment by the Gusau-led NFF board.

“I must graciously thank the NFF president, Alhaji Gusau, for this great honour, and as a member of the security Committee, I’ll work harmoniously with other members for the success of the committee,” Adeboye said.

He added that the Gusau board had transformed the NFF since he took over the affairs of the football house.

“We all can see how in the short space of time that Gusau has done wonderfully well.

“Everything has been running smoothly and the committees he has constituted will further bring more success to the glass house, because the different committees are stocked with gifted and hard working people.

“I see the Gusau-led board achieving more success and taking Nigerian football to greater heights,” he said.
