There was so much fun on Monday as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu showed up at Small London in Shitta, the popular Surulere neighborhood where a food outreach programme aimed at bringing succour to the vulnerable was on.

The visit was unannounced.
Hundreds of youths, women and elders were seen shouting ‘Four more years in Alausa’.
The initiative is part of the BOS Christmas initiative which the governor launched at Yuletide. It is targetted to reach 30,000 in seven days across 30 communities.

The programme is part of a series of outreach programmes in various LGAs.
The initiative is being organised in partnership with grassroots partners, such as the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Ofada Boy, Dreams from the Slum, and Lighted Pearl Africa Foundation.

Residents of communities in Makoko, Aiyetoro, Ajegunle, Shitta, Iponri, Lekki, amongst 30 others, will benefit from the week -long programme designed to help the needy and spread happiness to a greater number of vulnerable citizens.
