Serena eases into Australian Open final, to face Kerber

World No. 1, Serena Williams, has booked her place in the final of the 2016 Australian Open where she would face Angelique Kerber, who downed Englishwoman, Johanna Konta.
Williams is seeking a 22nd Grand Slam title in this her seventh final in Australia and her 26t Grand Slam final.
She easily dismissed the threat of Agnieska Radwanska 6-0 6-4 in just over an hour, after she breezed through the first set in just 20 minutes.
Afterwards, Radwanska said in a court-side interview that she does not believe anyone at the moment can beat Williams.
“She goes on court and she just wants to kill it. There was just no mistake,” Radwanska said.
“Unbelievable serve. Everything, she was going for it. Yeah, I couldn’t do much. Not at all, actually. I don’t think anyone can really play on that kind of level at all.”
For Williams, Saturday will be another opportunity to equal Stefi Graf’s record haul of Grand Slam titles and she said she is just excited to be in another final. “I’m really excited to be in another final.
“It just kind of blows my mind right now. I just feel like I’m playing the best I can and I can’t believe I’m in the final,” Williams added.
In the final, she will be confronted by Angelique Kerber, who dashed British hopes of sending a woman to the final in over 60 years as she defeated Konta 7-5 6-2 grab a first ever grand slam final appearance.
Seeded seventh for this championship, Kerber will need to play above her best to stand any chance against Williams on Saturday.
