On the long list of projects and items presented under the aegis of the Kingstone Charity Foundation, founded by Adeyemi and Mannah Dew Charity Foundation headed by his wife include 22 ambulances fitted with life support machines and medical equipment distributed to all medical centres in the constituency, the Kabba Township Stadium, 1,000 Seater Multipurpose Hall at Koto-Karfe, 100 Lock -up shops at Iyara, 60 lock-up shops in Isanlu and empowerment tools including Taxi cabs, Motorcycles, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV), worth about N200 million.

The medical equipment include all hospital items ranging from beddings, syringes to other medical tools.

The Senator stated at the event that the 22 ambulances would be spread round hospitals in the state including the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja as well as for the use of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to patrol the Lokoja- Abuja Highway as well as the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.

“ The idea is to have, at least, one ambulance within every locality, 15 minutes drive apart in the Senatorial District,” Adeyemi said.

He also stated that he has been able to facilitate the employment of no fewer than 150 constituents into federal jobs between 2011 and 2013.

Mrs. Yemisi Adeyemi, who chairs the Mannah Dew Charity Foundation, specifically gave out empowerment tools including 70 pieces each of grinding machines and deep freezers as well as cash to a number of women from across the local governments that make up the Senatorial District.

While speaking, Mrs. Adeyemi stated that the Foundation has since 2010 organised a series of empowerment programmes for the needy, the less privileged, vulnerable children and for persons living with disabilities.

She said: “It gladdens my heart to have opportunity to touch lives positively and to put smiles on the faces of women, especially at a time such as this,” adding that with prudent management, the beneficiaries would gain financial independence ” such that they can in turn be blessings to others within the shortest space of time.”
