A National Prophet, A/Prof. Tayo Popoola, has charged the body of Christ worldwide to strengthen all their programmes and activities aimed at preparing the world adequately for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
The cleric, who is the Spiritual Head of Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, Mowe, Ogun State said in a statement that the charge became necessary because “the Lord says there’s no time left”.
Popoola stated that the Lord spoke to him in a vision on Wednesday concerning the imminent second coming of Jesus Christ saying “the Lord said I should tell the world that no time is left”.
The cleric, who teaches Mass Communication at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), stated that going by the clips shown to him by the Lord, couples would be utterly shocked by the earthly events of Christ’s second coming.
“I saw homes scattered in which husband cannot locate the whereabouts of the wife and children cannot locate the whereabouts of their parents.
“I similarly saw a huge magnitude of people who were making last minute plans to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and saviour so as to be able to make heaven.”
He described acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Lord and saviour as visa to enter heaven while also urging those under the banner of Christ to remain steadfast, resolute and committed.
He stated that efforts should be made by the body of Christ to strengthen evangelism so as to bring in more people to Christ.
Prophet Popoola urged the global body of Christ to strengthen the saints so as to prevent or checkmate backsliding while also vigorously pursuing the goal of making disciples of Christ in all nations as contained in the book of Mathew 28:19.
