Treason: Saudi Arabia executes three soldiers

King Salman of Saudi Arabia

The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, has arrived in Muna, the holy city of Makkah, to supervise the services provided during the Haj pilgrimage.

Salman came to Muna on Saturday to oversee the comfort of the pilgrims.

The King was in the holy place to “ensure the services provided by the relevant government and private sector bodies meet the needs of the pilgrims’’.

The visit, it further disclosed, was to allow the pilgrims to complete their Haj rituals with ease, tranquillity and safety.

Almost 2.5 million Muslims, from all over the world, are participating in this year’s hajj, one of the largest annual global gatherings.

Pilgrims ascended Mount Arafat on Saturday, being the most important aspect of the Hajj rituals and on Sunday, observed the first day of Eid Al-Adha, or Feast of Sacrifice, which marks the end of the Hajj.

Several senior officials, including the Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, accompanied the king on the visit.
