‘Salvador a political neophyte in Lagos politics’

The Media Office of Chief Olabode George has decried the allegation by Labour Party Lagos West Senatorial District candidate, Mr. Moshood Salvador, that George was the sole sponsor of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the March 18 election, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
Describing Salvador’s allegation as utterly irresponsible, from a politician who has nothing to show for his mirage of political criss-crossing, the Media Adviser to George, Olusegun Edwards, noted that Salvador’s allegation was unbecoming of a political nitwit, who was supposed to be ashamed of himself for his failure in politics.
He warned Salvador to acknowledge the fact that he is nobody to accuse the person of George of any misdeed, saying, “You ought to keep quiet, so as not to expose yourself through your provocative accusations”.
He said Salvador never contested for any political office before, stating that Gbadebo even trashed him in the LP’s gubernatorial primary, to emerge the party’s flag bearer.
“Who is he to raise issue against the person of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour who contested for the Lagos West Senatorial District, with a meaningful impact”?
He said, before raising allegation, Salvador should state what he did in the U.S., saying, “if you don’t want your issue to be brought into the open, you should henceforth stop your unfounded allegations against people who are above board”.
He noted that George remains an honourable member of the PDP, and he does not have to deny paying for Gbadebo’s nomination fee, because he is an irredentist member of the PDP and not a Labour Party member.
