AMOTEKUN: Makinde vows to deal with erring corps members

The Chairman, Sahel Standard Media Group, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, has described Governor Seyi Makinde as “an exemplary modern leader”, delivering on “good and open governance to the people of Oyo state”

In a congratulatory message to the governor on his birthday, Mallam Rasheed said “the Governor has proved that governance can be conducted deploying best practices and with a target on the welfare and aspirations of the citizens”, noting that ” Governance in Oyo state is a model of pro-people and pro-poor focus worthy of emulation by all and sundry.

“Governor Makinde is an inspiration for young professionals who want to join the political process. His Excellency is an accomplished professional blessed by God to change the fortune of Oyo state for the better. In the process of enthroning good governance, resistance will Surface.

” Pursuing the greater good for the greater number of the populace is however a stronger force than any resistance. I urge the Governor to remain undaunted in his drive to set good example at state and regional levels. His brand is inspiring many professionals and confirming that there are better ways to practice politics than brigandry.

” Happy birthday ,Your Excellency. To the people your allegiance must remain. That is the path of history making. More blessings Mr Governor”, the statement concluded.
