German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, on Thursday, said that income from Russian assets does not belong to anyone, so it can be used for military assistance to Ukraine
“We are talking about profits that can be used because they do not belong to anyone and can therefore be used by the European Union,”
Scholz said this ahead of the EU leaders’ summit in Brussels.
The chancellor added that these funds had to be primarily used to purchase weapons and ammunition for Ukraine.
