Ronaldo gives kid he hit with ball the shirt off his back

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo accidentally booted a ball into the face of a child before a Champions League match against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday. When the soccer star realised what had happened, he gave the boy the shirt off his back.
Ronaldo pulled a similar gesture before after one of his errant blasts hit a fan. And in a more extreme incident, in 2013, one of his free kicks broke the wrist of a child. Naturally, the child got a jersey, but it wasn’t hand-delivered by the star himself.
Ronaldo’s sweet move on Wednesday perhaps had karmic impact. Real Madrid won 1-0.
