Buhari at Aso Rock Mosque as worshippers attack 'originators of fake wedding story’

Aisha Buhari

It is good that Mrs. Buhari is speaking up now on national issues.  Like millions of Nigerians, I like her courage on her recent position on the alleged fraud in the Presidency over the distribution of social interventions in some states of Nigeria.  She specifically mentioned the fact that her state, Adamawa, was fraudulently managed. At least, she must be seen as defending her people.
Interestingly, she has joined other Nigerians to condemn the rising case of banditry in the country.
But the question is: does her husband who is at the centre of all things in Nigeria listen?  Does President Buhari, husband of Aisha,  know that Nigeria is going under? Can she speak or appeal to her husband in the closet and in the language he will understand that bandits and armed Fulani herdsmen are gradually rendering Nigeria impotent? Does the president know that Nigeria will soon experience food insecurity if he allows the bandits and Fulani herdsmen to continue their jihad against harmless and defenceless farmers?
This is what right thinking Nigerians want Mrs. Aisha Buhari to do now to save Nigeria from further sinking.  Otherwise, posterity will not forgive the Buhari family on the way they manage the project Nigeria for eight years.
