A Cleric, Associate Professor Tayo Popoola, has charged Nigerian men to emulate the worthy steps taken by Noah which gave his family everlasting victory during the rampaging floods.
Ministering at the headquarters of Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries in Mowe on Monday during the annual Prophetic service – The Ark Rested ( Gen 8:4), the man of God described Noah as a man who feared God and faithfully carried out God’s assignments.
According to him, ” all other men in the society failed God during the time of Noah. They failed to organise their families in the direction of moving into the ark of safety and protection provided by the Lord. That is why they were all destroyed.
” Noah on the other hand organised his family. He briefed them on the divine instruction that they and their belongings should move immediately into the ark.
” Noah’s wife listened attentively to her husband and organised the children. She assisted her husband by packing and picking all the needful that should go with them into the ark.
” The wife thus laid a good example of wife’s role whenever the husband is billed to travel.It is wife’s duties to assist the husband in packing and arranging the luggage.”
The man of God said no wonder the scriptural declaration that whoever cannot organise his home should not aspire to be a leader in the church of God (1 Tim 3:4-5).
The cleric described Noah’s Ark as being analogous to a working tool as well as a means to an end . He ,therefore, prayed for national peace and security.
Highlights of the service was a special prayer session for restoration of all ailing businesses in the country, victory for families over life challenges as well as favour of God which singled out Noah’s family for divine attention.
