The Rangers Supporters Club has congratulated Dr Peter Mbah on his election and inauguration as the governor of Enugu State.

This is contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Enugu on Wednesday by the Chairman of the Supporters Club, Dr Uchenna Orji.

Orji described the inauguration as a new beginning and new things to come in the state.

He said the supporters club was happy to identify with the governor and urged him to take sports to a higher level.

Orji described Mbah as a sports-loving governor and expressed the hope that he would not abandon the sector in driving the state to a remarkable height.

He called on the new administration to ensure the completion of the ongoing renovation work at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

The chairman also urged the government to speed up the appointment of a substantive general manager and team manager for Rangers FC and a competent Sports Commissioner.
