Lagos State PDP chairmanship aspirant in the coming party congress on October 16, Adm. Dr. Adebiyi Abiodun Phillips, has assured his party leaders and members at large that he will deliver Lagos State to the party in the 2023 general elections.
He made the statement on Monday at a meeting when some members paid him a courtesy visit.
He said he has what it takes to take the party to the promised land and if he becomes the state chairman, the dominance of APC in the state will become history.
He further said with his connection outside the party, he can influence members of the public to vote for PDP and PDP will win.
Phillips, a Chartered Administrator, promised to take away in fighting within the party and restore peace.
He said he knew the major problem rocking the party, “why we fight often and disregard party constitution”.
He said he was ready to do everything within his power to restore permanent peace to the party.
“I know the problems rocking our party. I will solve them and position the party to winning ways. I’m the Chairman of PDP Peace Ambassadors, so I can tell you what the problems are and how to solve them”.
He called on PDP leaders, elders and members to give him the mandate and see the difference.
