Pharmaceutical company reiterates commitment to affordable, quality products

Mr Arun Raj, the Chief Consumer Officer of Shalina Healthcare, a pharmaceutical company, has reiterated its commitment to launch more consumer products to meet the demands of Nigerians and Africa at large.

Raj made this known during “Shaltoux My Voice, My Identity”, an online contest winners presentation ceremony organised by the company.

“Shaltoux My Voice, My Identity” is an online contest with the hashtag #FreeMyVoice Challenge.

Contestants sing or rap to a rhythm created by Zadok Terzang, the brand ambassador of shaltoux and also the first runner-up of Nigerians idol season 7.

“Shalina Healthcare have stayed in Africa for close to 40 years and we are happy for the opportunity to serve Nigerians and the Africa continent.

“We are very passionate about our products because it makes a lot of difference and this is because we don’t compromise quality in anything we do.

“We already have four new products and we intend to launch more products to meet the demands of millions of people through affordable and quality healthcare products,” he said.

He said the shaltoux online contest, in its second season. was the company’s way of giving out to the society through the youth.

“We are giving out to the society and we are very grateful for the opportunity to give hope to the young ones through this contest which will be more bigger as times goes on,” he said.

Also, Suresh Karuppiahsamy, Head of Consumer Business West Africa, said the Shaltoux online contest was initiated to communicate with people and get feedback on the effectiveness of Shaltoux.

“Success for us is in Shalina Healthcare is when everybody in Africa get access to affordable and quality care through our numerous products.

“We put this program together to know what people feel about Shaltoux which is a natural throat reliever.

“We will continue to engage and empower the youths through our numerous program and we urge them to take advantage of it,” he said.

Shaltoux’s Brand Ambassador, Zadox Terzang, commended the company for opportunity given to youth to showcase their talents through the #FreeMyVoice challenge.

“Kudos to Shalina healthcare for this contest and and happy to be part of the success story of this program that has touched the lives of many youths.

“Some people are brand ambassadors for products they don’t use but for me, Shaltoux is a different case,” he said.

Freeman Terzungweh received N1million as the winner of the contest while Confidence Egonu and Magdaline Anthony received N500,000 and N300,000 respectively as the first and second runner up.

The top ten finalists were also given cash prizes, making the total cash prize for the competition N2.8 million.
