PFIPC: I’m a member of APC, I’ll prove my claims against Gbajabiamila in court, insists Adeyemi

Rather than thaw, the crisis between the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the ‘so-called’ Director General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Matthew Adeniyi Adeyemi, has deepened.
Adeyemi, who claims to be a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, is insisting that he is not a fraudster.
To him, every allegation against Gbajabiamila will be proved and authenticated in court.
It is still not clear the documents or video evidence his lawyers will present in court.
Adeyemi spoke on Thursday on a Channels Television programme: “Politics Today”, hosted by Seun Okinbaloye.
He had earlier alleged that Gbajabiamila collected hundreds of millions of naira from him through fronts.
When pressed by Okinbaloye, he said he was not going to provide details on air “because the case is in court”.
The APC member, however, vowed to clear his name. “I am ready to face the law. If I’m wrong, let the court of law do that. And if I’m right, let the court of law do that”.
He, however, insisted he is not a con artist.
“Since the matter is in court, let the court of competent jurisdiction vindicate me because I’m ready to clear my name.
“Let the court take its course. Since my lawyers are involved, everybody will follow us. They will monitor the whole thing.
“Let the court of competent jurisdiction do what they need to do”.
On how salaries of officials working in PFIPC were paid, he said: “The truth will be unravelled at the court of law.
“Mr. Seun, I don’t want to talk much about it since the matter is in court.
“In fact, I’m restricted from talking since the matter is in court.
“So let’s just get to the court. Okay”?
