The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday adjusted the timetable for its congresses.
Notice of the adjustment is contained in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh in Abuja.
The statement quoted Metuh as saying the PDP national convention would still hold on May 21, while ward congress was shifted from April 23 to April 30, and ward congress appeal was scheduled for May 2.
The adjusted timetable also show that Local Government Area (LGA) Congresses would hold on May 5, and appeal from the congresses would hold on May 7.
The party also fixed its State Congresses for May 10, as well as State Appeal for May 12, 2016.
Zonal Congresses, according to the adjusted timetable, is fixed for May 14 and the zonal appeal will hold on May 17.
It added that the new timetable supercedes the former.
