‘Pacquiao-Mayweather bout won’t reach 6th round’

If Floyd Mayweather Jr. decides to turn up the ante early in the fight, we may not see much of Manny Pacquiao, claimed Floyd’s father-trainer.
The outspoken Floyd Sr. said Pacquiao won’t be able to reach the sixth round because he expects his son to be dominant against the Filipino.
”If my son jumps on his ass, he’ll be out quick. It might not go six. He might not get to six. It might get stopped real easy, it depends. It depends on how we feel,” he said in Boxing Scene.
As the fight draws near, Pacquiao has been steadily gaining on Mayweather in terms of boxing odds, given the way that he’s been training.
But Floyd Sr. asserted that the public is mistaken.

“If he thinks he’s going to overwhelm Floyd like that, it’s not going to happen,” he said.

“Pacquiao ain’t talking. Everyone keeps talking about the Roach. He’s the only one talking. Someone needs to get the can of spray out,” Floyd Sr. said of his rival trainer.

Floyd Jr. is out to prove his detractors wrong by ”exposing” Pacquiao on fight night.

”They are talking about Pacquiao is faster, stronger. You will see that everything they are saying about him is false and it will be proven on May 2nd.”
