Osun election seminar: IGP appoints Chief Detective as official media partner

Chief Detective Communications Ltd, publishers of NewsmakersNG online newspapers, has been engaged by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, as official media partners for Thursday’s Security Sensitisation Seminar with stakeholders in Osun State towards a smooth and violent-free elections in the country.
The theme of the one-day seminar to be declared open by Governor Rauf Aregbesola, in the state capital, Osogbo, is: ‘The Imperativeness of Police Collaboration with Essential Stakeholders: Towards Secured, Free and Credible Elections in Nigeria’.
The Vice-Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede, will be the Chairman/Moderator at the event, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Royal Father of the Day. Other notable guests expected at the event include the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, officials of all the political parties, sister security agencies, interest groups and opinion leaders.
Foreign missions including the United States, Britain, African Union, European Union, local and foreign election observers are equally participating.
