‘Oodua Women in Action’ visits orphanages, children’s homes

The Oodua Women in Action (OWA), a sociocultural organisation dedicated to the emancipation and empowerment of Yoruba women and children worldwide, put smiles on the faces of many families during the week as members visited Orphanages and Children’s homes with various gifts.
Led by their national chairperson, Princess Adekemi Adejumoke Adeniji and a few members, the group visited several Homes including T P6 ORPHANAGE HOME, TOTAL PARENTAL GUIDANCE ORPHANAGE, OLUYOLE ESTATE, OYIZA ORPHANAGE AND FOSTER FOUNDATION and other locations in Ibadan and its environs.

Princess Adeniji assured the places visited that her organisation was poised to make a difference in the lives of women and children throughout Yorubaland and highlighted some of the programmes lined up for year 2021.

She also conveyed messages of goodwill from their matron, Chief Mrs. Oshodi and members of the group’s Elders Council, Yeye Bola Aare, Pastor Mrs. Rachel Eri Oluwa, Mrs. Hafzat Aileru, Mrs. Adetutu Folashade and Mrs. Abosedeb Badekale Williams.
