Queens Park Rangers captain, Nedum Onuoha, has penned a new two-year contract at Loftus Road.
The deal will keep the 28-year-old, who joined the club from Manchester City in January 2012, at Rangers until the summer of 2018.
Onuoha has started 92 times during his time at QPR so far and is currently enjoying his new role as skipper following a bright start to the season which has seen them win their last three Championship games.

He disclosed that: “The last three and a half years have most certainly been exciting to say the least. The way the club is looking now, aiming to stabilise for the future, it’s another exciting period ahead.
“I’m enjoying my role as captain – everyone is here for the right reasons, everyone wants the same thing, so it makes my job easier. We’re pleased with how we’ve started the season. I felt in pre-season we had something and that we could get positives results in this division, and so far that’s proved to be the case.”
QPR head coach Chris Ramsey added: “Nedum is one of our most experienced players and him signing a new deal is fantastic news for everyone connected to the football club. He’s our captain, our leader, and his performances so far this season have been to an exceptionally high standard.”
