Nigerian international, Ogenyi Onazi, has confirmed that he has dragged his former club, SS Lazio, to FIFA’s disciplinary committee over his two months unpaid salaries.
The Super Eagles midfielder, who joined Turkish side, Trabzonspor this summer said that he took the step following the Stadio Olimpico outfit refusal to attend to the letter his lawyers sent to them two months ago.
“We have no option but to go to FIFA to ask the disciplinary committee to act on Lazio’s refusal to pay me,” Onazi stated.
“My agent and lawyer have written to Lazio, but after two months we have heard nothing from the club. We all conclude that the only ideal thing to do is to approach FIFA to enable me get what I worked for.”
The midfielder scored seven goals in 110 appearances in his five-year stay at the club
