That High Chief Saheed Akanbi Olusesi is a well known name as far as society is concerned, is not debatable.
Anyway, that is not the news again. The latest news coming out from the Baale of Omole, a town in Lagos metropolis, High Chief Saheed Akanbi Olusesi, is the dream he has for the ancient town. The Baale has a lot good things in stock for the development of his area.

According to Olusesi, Omole did well during the days of the late ruler but some things that will boost the community further needed to be attended to “I decided to float Omole Day which is first of its kind in our community, the motive behind it is to raise funds to do what the community has been longing from the government for lengthy years. We decided to lift our load believing the government will extend help hand to pick it up to greater height though, the government is trying but we are also begging for a focus on Omole too”.

And part of the celebration will also see renowned Fuji musician, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Odetola also known as Pasuma given a chieftaincy title as Atunluse of Omole Land.

Baale of Omole, High Chief Saheed Akanbi Olusesi Adebosipo Olu-Edun 1, said the Fuji musician “is the only one who will bag chieftaincy title on Omole Day schedule to come up on June 6 where other prominent personalities will go with award plaques”.

Chief Adebosipo, who was installed as Baale under the ruler ship of Alaguda of Aguda, said apart from raising funds for the community, Omole Day is also to bring all Omole sons and daughters, both home and abroad, together to talk about development and also to mark his 100 days on the throne.
He also eulogised a veteran broadcaster, Kabir Adeyemo Kabiesi Owurolawa for his worthy advices and made him Chief Adviser of Omole Land.
