Olympics: Aruna, Edem lose table tennis men, women singles’ events

Team Nigeria’s captain to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Aruna Quadri, has lost to Brazil’s Gustavo Tsuboi, during the table tennis men’s singles event.
He lost 2-4 in Japan on Tuesday.
The game ended 4-2 (15-13, 9-11, 6-11, 11-7, 7-11, 6-11) in a keenly fought contest.

Also, Offiong Edem of Nigeria lost 1-4 to Lily Zhang of the United States (U.S.) during the table tennis women’s singles event at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, on Monday.
