Nollywood actor, Olumide Bakare, on Thursday pleaded with Nigerians to come to his aid as he battles lung and heart diseases.
The veteran actor has been critically ill for a while now, and reported to be in the intensive care unit of University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State since January 2.
The veteran actor was hospitalised after a cardiac arrest, and is now fighting for his life.
He said the debilitating ailment had inflicted a huge strain on his finance as he had spent over a million naira on it.
The medical situation has prompted him to call on good-spirited Nigerians to come to his aid financially.
Bakare said he would need about N30,000 daily and that well-meaning Nigerians should come to his aid financially and spiritually.
Several Nollywood actors and actresses have been championing the cause of the actor on social media for financial help.
Orisun TV has also taken the lead by appealing to people to join in raising funds for the ace actor.
