On behalf of my family and the good people of Bayelsa West Senatorial District, I condole with the family, the governor, the government and the good people of Ekiti State over the passing of former Military Administrator of Bayelsa State, Navy Captain Omoniyi Caleb Olubolade (rtd).
I also condole with the government and good people of Bayelsa State of which he was an administrator.
Olubolade was part of Bayelsa State and he did his best when he served as military administrator and even thereafter. He always associated with Bayelsa with pride. For us, he was a Bayelsan. This he reemphasised by celebrating his 70th birthday last year in Bayelsa, which now happens to be his last birthday.
On behalf of my family and my Senatorial District, I commiserate with his family, friends and well-wishers, the governor and the government of Ekiti State, as well as the governor and the government of Bayelsa State over his passing.
I pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace and pray that God grants his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
