The Olubadan Advisory Committee has expressed its gratitude to top Nigerian corporate brands, Globacom, MTN and Nigerian Breweries for supporting the activities lined up to mark the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland this weekend.
In a statement on Thursday in Ibadan and signed by Mr Adeola Oloko, Media Aide to the Olubadan Designate, the Head of the Olubadan Advisory Committee, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, thanked the corporate giants and other well meaning Nigerians for their support, particularly the grand reception planned for Ibadan Recreation Club on Saturday.

Professor Adedoja commended the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi for organising a befitting coronation ceremony for the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Olasupo Adetunji which is slated for Friday at the Mapo Square, Oja’Ba, Ibadan.
Prof. Adedoja said the grand reception for the new monarch is his committee’s initiative to complement the efforts of the Oyo State government in giving the Olubadan a befitting reception.

He commended the Chairman of the Oyo State Coronation Committee, Dr. Lekan Balogun, who is the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland as well as the Olubadan-in-Council for the grand installation programme.
He prayed that the reign of the new Olubadan would witness unprecedented progress and development of Ibadanland.
