Tax evasion: Court renews Okocha’s arrest warrant

Okocha

JJ_okochaThe regular fun and excitement of UEFA Champions league awaits fans tonight (Tuesday) courtesy of International premium lager beer, Heineken. Former Super Eagles captain Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, is set to thrill football fans on digital platforms during match day four of the UEFA Champions League from Port Harcourt.

The reverse fixtures begin tonight, and in group B the star match up will see Juventus FC of Italy take on cup challengers Real Madrid in Turin. Football legend, Okocha, with over 20,000 followers on twitter will engage with football fans before, during, and after the match on digital platforms. All twitter users are encouraged to join the conversation by tweeting @realmadrid or @Heineken_NG or use the hashtags #MatchnightWith@Heineken_NG or #MatchNightWith.

Heineken recently extended its sponsorship with UEFA for another three years until 2018. Over the last few seasons, the International premium lager beer has been rewarding its Nigerian consumers with a premium viewing experience of UEFA Champions league football, in the Heineken Champions Planet in Victoria Island, Lagos. For the on- going season, the brand has been showcasing the unique Heineken experience at 100 premium bars with the aim of getting closer to its consumers in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Abuja.

Okocha, who was engaged by thousands of Arsenal fans on match day 2 as they interacted with him during the 2-0 win against FC Napoli at the Emirates stadium, would be available to hundreds of UEFA Champions League fans at Casablanca bar, GRA 2 in Port Harcourt this evening. Consumers will have the opportunity to interact with the football legend while the match is underway.

“It was a thrilling experience for me the last time I was on the twitter handle for Heineken during the Arsenal’s home match, and with the competition already gathering steam, I want all passionate fans to join me at Casablanca bar, GRA 2 Port Harcourt as @juventusfc slug it out with @realmadrid,” he commented last night.

The high point of match day four will come up tomorrow in Lagos at the Sailor’s Lounge, Lekki when one of the first in 10 ticket winners will emerge in a transparent draw ceremony. “The brand has partnered with 100 bars pan Nigeria to activate the “Match Your Half Ticket” promotion where consumers can win among other prizes an all-expense paid trip to watch a UEFA Champions League match live in Europe.

“To be part of the promotion consumers are advised go to any of the Heineken selected bars on UEFA Champions League Match nights. The list of participating bars can be found via a bar finder app on the Heineken facebook page and on www.heineken.com,” the senior brand manager Heineken Jacqueline van Faassen explained.

The brief ceremony will come up during the half time show of the matches of the day. One winner will be chosen from a hat with over 200 entries.
