Oke-Ogun group urges Ajimobi to complete Saki dualisation road

An Oke-Ogun socio-cultural forum, Oba Adeyemi Group, has appealed to the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, for the
completion of dualisation of Saki road.
The group observed the dualisation of the highway road if completed would relief motorists, residents and travelers its undulating terrain.
The group also lauded the consent and approval of both the Governor and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 11, for the wearing of beaded crowns of some traditional rulers in Oke-Ogun area of the state.
It called on the governor to constitute the State Council of Obas and Chiefs, and make the Alaafin of Oyo permanent Chairman before leaving the office next year.
In a communiqué jointly signed at the end of its monthly meeting held in Iseyin, the group enjoined registered political
parties to ensure that the next governor the state come 2019 is picked from Oke Ogun area.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives from Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, Olorunsogo, Orelope, Irepo, Saki-West, Saki-East and Atisbo local governments.
