Ogun ANA elects new Exco

Members of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Ogun State Chapter, have elected new officers to pilot the affairs of the Association for the next two years.
At an election held at the Simeon Adebo Library on Saturday, Dr. Chris Omotosho was re-elected as Chairman while the Orunto of Owu Kingdom, Chief Abiodun Lasile, emerged as the Vice Chairman.
A film maker and freelance journalist, Mr. Femi Sanyaolu was elected as General Secretary while Mr. Samuel Ogunyinka was elected as Treasurer.
Former Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gbenga Daniel, Pastor Dare Folarin, was elected as the Public Relations Officer of Ogun ANA.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman, Dr. Chris Omotosho, promised to revitalise the Association of Nigerian Authors in Ogun State to enhance literary culture, reading and training of budding writers through robust catch-them-young schemes promising “you will see a new Ogun ANA!”

The election was organised by an electoral committee headed by a renowned author, Dr. Sola Adetutu.
