The 2024 South West Authors Forum (SWAF) holds this weekend in Abeokuta.
Venue of the 3-day Conference with the theme “Fostering National Unity Through Creativity” is the ASSUS Secretariat, Leme, Abeokuta.
A release signed by the Ogun State Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun State Chapter, Dr. Chris Omotosho, said the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Professor Saka Adelola Matemilola is expected as the Chairman of the Conference while the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya is the Special Guest of Honour.
A renowned Educationist and Director, Internal Quality Assurance, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Dr. P. E. Ezenandu will be the Keynote Speaker.
Over 100 writers from Oyo, Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Osun and Ogun states are expected at the Conference which begins on Friday with a gala night.
