Odunmbaku’s mother dies at 95

Frontline leader of the influential Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC, in Lagos State All Progressives Congress, APC, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku (Baba Eto), has lost his mother, Madam Jimaima Ajike Odunmbaku (Nee Dasaolu), at a ripe age of 95.
A statement by the family on Saturday quoted Baba Eto, a close ally of former Lagos governor and national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, confirming that Madam Odunmbaku died on Friday night.
The late businesswoman and community leader is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The statement added that burial arrangement would soon be announced by the family while acknowledging and expressing appreciation to all friends, associates and family members who have been calling and paying visits to the Ikosi Lagos home of Cardinal Odunmbaku and Budland, Ojodu headquarters of his Church, City of God Cathedral to condole the family.
