West Brom have mercilessly poked fun at former star, Peter Odemwingie, for his infamously failed attempt to force through a move to QPR.
The Baggies have trolled the striker’s in-car interview from January 31, 2013 where he spoke of his new challenge ahead… only for the move to collapse and Odemwingie returning to West Brom.
Unsurprisingly, Odemwingie’s career at the Hawthorns never recovered – believe it or not, the fans took offence to his actions – and a loan move to Cardiff City followed before joining Stoke City six months later.
But, in a fresh twist, the Baggies actually miss the Nigeria international. Maybe more luck this January?
The striker infamously drive to London to force with a January transfer in 2013 only for a deal to not materialise, and the Baggies have not forgotten.
