Obiano arrested at Lagos Airport

Hours after leaving office as Anambra State Governor, Mr. Willie Obiano was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday in Lagos.
He was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos around 8:24pm while on his way to Houston in Texas, the United States (U.S.).
Obiano was immediately whisked away to the Awolowo, Ikoyi office of the commission.
An EFCC source confirmed the arrest.
