The immediate past Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has embarked on a vacation to enable him undergo extended medical checks.
With the swearing in of Governor Monday Okpebholo on Tuesday, Obaseki ended his eight-year tenure which started in 2016.
Obaseki’s Media Adviser, Crusoe Osagie, made this known in a statement.
He said Obaseki “once again expressed his appreciation to God Almighty and the people of Edo State and Nigeria for the opportunity to serve”.
