NYSC Board Member, Oyewumi, hails Sports Minister on Award of Excellence

A member of the National Governing Board of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) , Prince Kunle Oyewumi has congratulated the Minister of Youth and Sports Development,, Chief Sunday Dare on award of Excellence in Public Service bestowed on him at the maiden edition of Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).
Describing the Minister as a dynamic and innovative professional with passion for nation building, the Ogbomoso Prince lauded the sports initiatives and youth friendly policies of Dare.
The Board member urged the Minister not to relent in his efforts in repositioning sports at all levels, adding that the award bestowed on the Minister is a testament to Dare’s commitment and determination to deliver on his mandate as Minister of Sports and Youth Development.
In a message, Oyewumi expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for giving the Minister the opportunity to showcase his intellectual capacity and political dexterity.
He said, ” I felicitate with Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare on the award of Excellence in Public Service bestowed on him at the maiden edition of NEAPS.
“It is a well-deserved honour in view of the giant strides and remarkable accomplishments of the Minister in public service.
“I urge the Minister to remain committed and determined in complementing the efforts of the President in promoting grassroots sports, youth development.
The Ogbomoso Prince wished Dare continued success in his noble role.
