No uniform cut-off marks, as JAMB gives varsities, polytechnics, colleges of education minimum requirements

Candidates seeking admission into Nigeria’s tertiary institutions for the 2021/2022 academic session have been told there will be no uniform cut-off marks.
Instead, universities, polytechnics and colleges of education will decide cut-off marks for the session.
This was disclosed on Tuesday in Abuja by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The Board also adopted minimum cut-off marks for 2021 admissions.
JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, displayed the minimum cut-off marks adopted by tertiary institutions at the 2021 policy meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.
According to the new arrangement, universities are not allowed to go below 120 while Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, are not allowed to go below 100 for admission.
