First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, declared on Monday in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be defeated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on March 28.
This is because Nigerians are tired of the propaganda of the opposition party.
She spoke at a rally organised for women in the Fountain of Knowledge.
“PDP is not a party that tells lies. Whatever we promise to do, we do. We are not a party of propagandists. I will not tell you lies but the truth. Those in the opposition, what did they do when they were in government?
“When Fayose was in Ekiti as governor in his first term, didn’t he do something? If he didn’t do something for you then, you wouldn’t have voted for him again. If you have done something, your handwriting will be visible,” she said.
Governor Ayo Fayose described the APC as a combination of strange bed fellows.
His wife, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, said with the overwhelming victory of her husband in the governorship election last June, the people of the state will vote for the PDP.
