Mr Owolabi Williams, the Founder and President of the Boys Lead Foundation, has been honoured with the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards.
This coincided with Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day, a day symbolising justice, community service and empowerment.

The Nigerian-born Williams is a renowned leader whose focus is on developing and empowering boys and young men.
“As the Founder and President of the Boys Lead Foundation, Williams has been a pivotal figure in youth development, impacting lives across seven countries and 12 cities.
“This prestigious award was in recognition of Williams’ unwavering dedication and significant contributions to nurturing the younger generation.
“His organisation, Boys Lead Foundation, has become a cornerstone in fostering self-reliance, volunteerism and confidence among boys and young men, thereby equipping them to be leaders,” said the statement.
Williams was quoted by the statement as saying that the award was symbolic.

“This honour is a testament to the collective efforts of our team members across the globe in empowering young minds and a commitment to continue this vital work.”
