NFF slams six-match suspension on Babalade

nffThe Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Organising and Disciplinary Committee has slammed a six-match ban on former Super Eagles defender, Ajibade Babalade, who is the Team Manager of Globacom Premier League team Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan alongside his Heartland Football Club of Owerri colleague, Promise Nwachukwu.

Rising from its sitting on the incident that occurred after the week 20 match involving the Oluyole Warriors and Kwara United in Ibadan, the committee punished 3SC team manager, Ajibade Babalade with six match suspension just as the team’s midfielder, Philip Asuquo was suspended for three matches.

Also punished were the Chairman of 3SC supporters’ club, Sina Inaolaji as well as another fan, Abass who were both barred from participating in organised football.

The disciplinary action taken against the stars was in addition to the ban placed on their fans as the team has been ordered to play its next three home matches behind closed doors while it was also ordered to repair every damaged properties belonging to Kwara United.

Similarly, Team Manager of Heartland FC of Owerri, Promise Nwachukwu was also suspended for six matches.
