Neymar accepts €222m PSG transfer offer

Alexis Sanchez’s future continues to dominate the agenda at Arsenal.
With Bayern Munich publicly dropping out of the race on Monday, it looked like Manchester City were the only club still in for the Chilean superstar, who has just one year left on his contract at the Emirates.
Paris Saint-Germain had rekindled their interest in the Gunners forward following Kylian Mbappe’s apparent decision to remain at Monaco for another season.
The French media outlet claimed Sanchez was now the priority target of the Ligue 1 giants, who could be willing to pay over £50 million to sign the 28-year-old.
But reports have now emerged from Brazil claiming that PSG are closing in on a staggering world record deal for Barcelona star Neymar.
Esporte Interativo claim that Neymar has accepted an offer to move to Paris – who will pay Barcelona €222m to sign the forward.
If true, that would surely end an chance of Sanchez moving across the channel.
Arsene Wenger was adamant earlier on Tuesday anyway that his star man would not be leaving the Emirates this summer.
The Arsenal boss was speaking in China at a press conference held ahead of Wednesday’s game against Bayern Munich in Shanghai.
Alexis Sanchez’s future holds the key to Everton’s Giroud move and Lemar’s Arsenal transfer
“The decision has been made and we will stick to that,” he said. “The decision is not to sell.
“We played 20 years in the Champions League, that’s 17 years before Sanchez arrived and three years with him so he can get us back in there.”
