Nasarawa State will witness more development in 2024, says Speaker

Mr Danladi Jatau, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says  the state is on the path to greater development in 2024 and beyond.
He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule in order to achieve speedy growth and development in the state in 2024.
Jatau stated this  in his New Year message in his village, Angiri Bassa, Kokona Local government Area of the State.
The Speaker congratulated the people of the State and Nigerians for making it to the New Year.
He advised the people  to continue to pray and support Gov. Sule and leaders  at all levels to succeed toward the  development of the state and the country at large.
” On behalf of my family, my constituents, principal officers, honorable members and staff of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, I wish all a happy and prosperous New Year.
“By God’s grace, the state will experience speedy development in 2024 and beyond as my leadership will give His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule total cooperation and support to succeed.
” I want to assure  His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule of  effective synergy in order to achieve speedy development in the state in 2024 and beyond,” he said.
Jatau said that Gov. Sule has done well  in almost all sectors of the economy.
The speaker also expressed optimism that Gov. Sule would construct Bassa/Angiri Road to boost socio-economic activities of the people of the area.
” I have received many appeals from my constituents for state government to construct Bassa/Angiri Road.
“We are all aware that His Excellency is a listening Governor and has the passion for the people of the state and by God’s grace, he will construct the road for my people,” he said.
He urged the people of the state to shun their political, religious and ethnic differences to work toward a prosperous state.
“Let’s continue to use our diversities to promote unity and peace as it is when we live in unity and peace that there will be speedy development in the state,” he said.
He appreciated the people of Kokona West constituency for voting him into the House.
“Without your prayers, support and votes, I will not be a member of the House and Speaker today, I appreciate you all sincerely,” he said.
Jatau urged the citizens of the state to always be  law-abiding, patriotic and show love to one another for the overall development of the state.
He promised the people of the state that the Assembly would ensure to churn out robust legislation that would promote peace and bring speedy development to the state.
” We will ensure that the 2024 budget is implemented accordingly for the overall development of the state, ” he added.
In a related development, the Speaker attended New Year  Sunday service at ECWA Church, Angiri, Kokona LGA  where he urged the Christians and other Nigerians to pray and support leaders including Gov. Sule to succeed.
He also urged them intensify prayers for the unity and peace of the state and the  country at large.
In his remarks, Mr Musa Iyimoga, former member representing Doma North Constituency urged the people to appreciate God for creating human being irrespective of their backgrounds.
He stressed the need for peace and tolerance amongst the people of the state irrespective of their affiliations, while urging support for Gov. Sule and the Speaker.
On his part, Rev. Joshua Jatau, the Reverend in-charge of ECWA Church, Angiri while presiding over the Service prayed for peaceful 2024.
He urged Christians and other Nigerians to continue to do positive things by shunning evil acts at all times for the overall development of the society.
The cleric also prayed for leaders as well as for the unity and peace of the state and the country.
The Speaker, after the church service, hosted several groups who came to pay home at his village residence.
