Naira maintains value at parallel market at N248 to dollar

The naira on Monday continued to exchange at N248 to the dollar at the parallel market.
The naira had on Friday fell to N248 to the dollar at that segment of the market.
It still maintained the rate on Monday.
However, at the official interbank window, the naira is N197 to the dollar.
Dealers attributed the development to the scarcity of dollar as importers complained that the weak naira was impacting negatively on their businesses.
