The naira firmed against the dollar at the parallel market on Friday, exchanging for N321 to the dollar.
The naira gained N1 from N322 it traded previously.
The naira was traded at N450 and N360 to the pound sterling and Euro, respectively at the market on Friday.
The CBN official exchange rate of the naira to the dollar still remained N197.
Traders attributed the relative stability in the exchange rate of the naira to the passage of the 2016 federal budget.
Mr Harrison Owoh, a Bureau de Change operator, decried activities of speculators in the market, calling on the apex bank to come up with policies that would frustrate speculation in the market.
